my ex decided to call me today, all the way from nairobi. unexpected, but a nice surprise overall.. esp since he never called me when we're together.. i'm the one who decided to end it with him, so i didn't think we'd be able to stay friends. not sure what a phone call proves, but i imagine the distance has helped the situation.

anyways, like i said it was a nice suprise.

in other news, been listening to KMD all afternoon, and they are so dope! it's like tribe called quest meets nas and dead prez.. happy beats and playful rhymes but deadly serious lyrics.. sweet!

well, my evening will be spent indoors.. transcribing tapes for my socy senior essay and having a b-day party for a friend.. here, which is why i'm going to be so immobile.
